Agreed repair plan with DL/ Steve Griffiths/Trevor Hartnett DL have specified and purchased/arranged for supply of mechanical contactor to FuG. FuG to repair damage and integrate contactor at their cost. Return RAL end Feb - DL to commission at Ral upon return. Solenoids will be aligned during Jan shut down. Requires axial-offset bellows – design in hand – out for quote. Exploring parallel solution Cost incurred this year.

H2 system 2 leaks –H2 insulating vacuum to environment. –H2 system to insulating vacuum. FCU now extracted from beam line, still cold. Plan testing in Hall - 2-5 days depending on availability of move. Move FCU to R9 and FCD to Hall, week beginning 11 th or18 th Jan. H2 end cap and bellows assemblies now removed. No strong evidence of significant cold touch H2 compressors to move to R9. No additional H2 end cap available. Only one H2 spare window- substitute ‘thick’ window on FCU Need vacuum end caps for FCU testing.

Demonstration of Ionisation Cooling MAP directors review suggests no magnet before 2018 Planning still in early stages so dates not firm. Project has been re-planned based on these dates MICE Demonstration of Ionisation Cooling construction complete early 2018. Data complete end 2018/Jan 2019. Cost to Completion review moved to late April/ early May SS magnet now defines critical path. Cavity delivery unchanged. Cavity couplers test at FNAL Jan – coupler not yet leak tight Cavity assembly Jan/Feb in Berkeley. Cavities to RAL May/June 16? RF power supply plan as yet unchanged, RF delivered to RAL Sept ’16 – 2016 running will change this. Developing plan for offline test and clean room provision. Mechanical design, parts for PRY (underfloor) nearly ready to go for bid Good progress on floor plates, nearly ready to got to fabrication. Central absorber design near complete. PRY drawing sign off – final stages.
