2-Batch Production Producing a limited or set number of identical products - a batch One batch produced at a time (of each product), then can switch to different product Useful for range of products Examples - Subway, breads, etc.

3-Flow & Line, Mass production Effectively interchangeable Producing standardised homogenous products in large quantities Target low end of the market. Depend of automated assembly lines Examples – Coco-Cola, IPhone

4-Cell Production An adaptation of Mass Production in which the flow is broken down to self-contained teams who are responsible for the whole work units Emphasis on quality and affordability Target the different ends of the market Examples – BMW
