This module describes the enhancements added to release 8.5(1) for enhanced Person password support. All rights reserved. 6 Updating Unified CCE Minimum Password Length Use the Configuration Manager tool within Unified CCE to select System Information > Miscellaneous Tools. Use the minimum password length field to specify the minimum length for Person passwords. Zero allows blank passwords to be set. Changes to configuration may take 30 minutes before they are reflected in Unified CCMP.

© 2008 Cisco Systems, Inc. All rights reserved. 7 Setting a Person Password through Unified CCMP Passwords for Agent logons are configured through the System Manager Tool. Passwords are configured when creating new Agents or Persons. Password rules are checked when the Agent/Person is saved.

Resetting of passwords will be validated against the current password rules. Saving a Person/Agent without resetting their password will not validate their existing password against the current password rules.
