What is Energy Lab Participation in labs is based on the following requirements: – All work has been completed up to that point. – Student is receiving a passing grade – Student has lab notebook. – Student has completed all previous labs correctly. – Student has less than3 steps on a referral – Student has had no suspensions during the unit – Student is able to work cooperatively and productively with a group.

What is Energy? ● This “cheat” sheet is what all of you lab entries should look like. ● You lab will be graded on the following objectives: – Participation grade: ● Student followed all classroom and lab rules ● Student worked diligently ● Student participated with their group ● Student remained in their designated area ● Student signed in and out all lab materials correctly.

What is Energy – Lab grade ● Student completed all sections of scientific method required for lab. ● Student required all attempts to complete lab in a detailed format. ● Student collected accurate data ● Student can to a logical conclusion based on the data they collected. ●

Safety precautions ● Be responsible with all lab equipment ● DO NOT touch the red and black wires together! ● Keep all objects clear of the fan blade.

What is Energy? ● Energy is the ability to do Work: – And work is a term used when anything is occurring ● So Energy is the ability to do anything!
