4. From this term children will be working from the New National Curriculum. This does not have levels in the same way that the old curriculum did. There are now Age Related Expectations. The expectations of what the children will know at the end of each year have been increased. Children will then be assessed as to how many of these expectations have been achieved or exceeded. We are able to relate this to the old levels and will do so to help us track pupils progress during this transitional year. We will offer further explanation Assessment
