2. EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Reply to reviewer's comments / 1 Better align the decisions about the selection of versions of external middleware across the project activities. Avoid the use of different versions of a middleware whenever possible Answer: We will clearly state, for each task, which version of each middleware is used, specifying also because that particular version is used. Whenever possible, we will try to minimize differences of versions across tasks, and in any case we will provide rationales for each deviation to this goal.

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Reply to reviewer's comments / 2 Consider the implementation of a project wide inventory that defines the current version to be used by all OMII-Europe developments Answer: For each component used or developed in OMII-Europe, we will state from which version of the middleware(s) it is taken, and why that version was chosen. We will build a complete listing of components with associated middleware versions.

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Reply to reviewer's comments / 3 Refer clearly in documentation to specific versions not only to the basic name (e.g. UNICORE6 instead of UNICORE) Answer: In future documentation we will clearly state the versions of the middleware, instead of using generic names.

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Reply to reviewer's comments / 4 In future versions of the yearly management report of the re-engineering activity, describe the issues faced and how they were addressed with particular emphasis on cross-activity issues. Answer: Future management report will contain a description of issues related to cross-activity management, and how they will be addressed.
