EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE Feedback from M12 Review JRA1 has the following suggestions from the referees to implement (discussion in the JRA1 session) – Better align the decisions about the selection of external middleware across the project activities. Avoid the use of different versions of a middleware whenever possible – Consider the implementation of a project wide inventory that defines the current version to be used by all OMII-Europe developments – Refer clearly in the documentation to specific versions not only to the basic name (e.g., UNICORE6 instead of UNICORE) – In future versions of the yearly management report of the re- engineering activity, describe the issues faced and how they were addressed with particular emphasis on cross-activity issues

EU project: RIO31844-OMII-EUROPE What to do next? Start to give visibility to JRA1 newly developed components Start to put things into the repository Release alpha versions as soon as possible – SA2 can begin compliance testing of interfaces – JRA4 could proceed with benchmarking in parallel – Release documentation, so that training material can be developed quickly – Even on alpha-quality software, early releases can be useful to test benchmarking tools or compliance testing tools
