Action Verbs An action verb tells what the subject does or did.

Action Verbs Action Verb- Tells what the subject does or did. Remember that a verb is the main word in the predicate of a sentence. Example: We bought popcorn at the movie theater. An action verb can also tell about an action that you cannot see. Example: We wanted candy too!

Action Verbs Let’s Practice! 1.My best friend and I sat in the front row. 2.We met some other friends there. 3.I spent five dollars on snacks. 4.The movie lasted two hours. 5.Everyone enjoyed it.
