Accommodation & Facilities Accommodates 124 people in bunk rooms of 4-10 people. Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms and others have toilets and showers adjacent to rooms. Group Leaders: Separate accommodation in rooms of 2-4 people. Centre Facilities: Community canoe centre, seminar rooms, games room, shop, drying room, dining room, student lounge with TV, pay- telephone

We suggest you take the following: Warm clothing e.g. sweatshirts / fleeces / jogging bottoms Old clothing 2 Pairs of trainers (one which can get wet) Towel and Swimwear Socks and underwear – plenty of them !!!! Nightwear All clothing to be named A small amount of money (£10.00 is sufficient for the tuck shop) WHAT TO BRING

Please remember your £10 refundable deposit – this will be collected by each group instructor. All specialist equipment (walking boots, waterproofs etc) will be provided. All students are responsible for all of the equipment within their activity group - at the end of the trip if any equipment from the activity group is missing or damaged the cost of replacing that item will be taken from the collective deposits. You will need a packed lunch for your journey to the centre. Trip 1 (Monday) Trip 2 (Wednesday) Assemble in the restaurant to be registered on the morning of your trip. You will be leaving the centre at Ullswater at 1.00pm and should be back at the Academy 3.30pm – 4.00pm. Please make sure you can get home safely! WHAT TO BRING

Valuables (e.g. watches & jewellery) Mobile phones, MP3 players or tablets. The Academy cannot be responsible for personal items that are lost or damaged. WHAT NOT TO BRING
