2. Front Cover Mise-en-scene Clothing: Plaid shirt, jeans and boots to connote the stereotypical country genre and emphasise to the audience the musical genre of the magazine. Lighting: High key lighting to establish that the music featured inside is upbeat and light because my music magazine genre is country/pop. Pop music is very catchy and often quite positive therefore high key lighting will reflect this. However low key lighting could also work because country music can often be quite serious and deep and low key lighting will portray the artist(s) as dramatic and serious. Actors: Movement/Expression/Setting: Stood with guitars either in front of a plain background to focus the reader on the artists or outside in nature to highlight that it is a country music magazine. Props: Acoustic guitars as they connote the country and pop music genre.
