Important Dates Saturday, April 27 ~ Senior Prom (9 p.m. – 1a.m.) and After Prom (1:30a.m. – 5:00a.m.) Friday, May 17 & Monday, May 20 ~ Review Day for Exams Tuesday - Friday, May 21-24 ~ Final exams and textbook clearance Friday, May 24 ~ Final Senior Breakfast – 8:30 am Wednesday, June 5 ~ Graduation Rehearsal (Main Gym)(9 am – 1 pm) Thursday, June 6 ~ Graduation (DAR)(10 am – approx. 11:30 am)

Senior Prom Saturday, April 27 Grand Hyatt - Washington, DC 9:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. No one admitted after 11:00 p.m. Tickets available April 22 nd – 26 th Tickets are $60 per person No tickets will be sold at the door

Friday, May 24 ~ 8:30a.m. l Obligations must be paid by 8:30 a.m. Caps, gowns, and graduation tickets distributed at 8:30 a.m. Students will not receive these items until obligations are cleared. l And of course, breakfast will be served. Final Senior Breakfast

Arrival at Constitution Hall Graduation: 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6 Students arrive no later than 8:45 a.m. Students enter at C or D Street lobby Doors open to public at 9:15 a.m. Admission for public by ticket only Doors close at 9:55 a.m. for line-up and processional; doors reopen after processional Buses leave B-CC at 7:30 a.m. ($12.00 per person) DEADLINE to reserve a seat: Friday, May 17

Arrival at Constitution Hall – Cont’d We do not want anyone to get stuck in rush hour traffic and miss the beginning of graduation. Therefore, we strongly encourage graduates, family, and invited guests to take advantage of the chartered buses or the metro. Bus reservation forms are located in the back of the graduation packet and should be returned to Mr. Orlando on or before Friday, May 17 th.

Tickets Admission to Constitution Hall by ticket only Each graduate receives 6 tickets Tickets distributed on Friday, May 24 at 8:30 a.m. in the school cafeteria Return unneeded tickets to Mr. Orlando Submit request form for additional tickets A.S.A.P. to Mr. Orlando

Student Attire Graduation is serious…Dress Appropriately Female students: skirts, dresses, or slacks Male students: dress shirts, ties, dress pants Dress shoes for all students Not permitted: tennis shoes, casual sandals, flip-flops, shorts, or jeans No decorations or alterations to caps/gowns except for honor society cords, IB medallions & pins, etc.

Photography and Video DVD copies available for purchase for $25 when ordered in advance (order forms included in the senior mailing) Blanton Studios will take pictures at graduation. A website and ordering information will handed out at graduation rehearsal and will be posted on the BCC website. Friends and Family who can’t attand gradutation can watch live: http://www.dar.org/conthall/watchgraduation.cfm

After Graduation Reception & Luncheon For all BCC graduates and their families Thursday, June 6 at 1:00 pm B-CC Courtyard & Art Atrium

Final PTSA program for senior parents Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00pm “Going, going, gone! My Kid Left for College, Now What?!” Hear from a panel of seasoned B-CC parents who have gone through this transition more than once & how they handled it. Get your questions answered from people who have been there & done that! We will discuss both the transition for parents, the student, & siblings.

Plans after B-CC Bring in all results from colleges applied to for Naviance/Family Connections database. Expect senior surveys in May as an obligation (BCC AND MSDE) including stamped/addressed envelope for the final transcript
