Your restaurant or place of business will provide 105 $50 gift certificates per week. These certificates will be sold for $25 – allowing viewers to buy a Mick’s Half Off Deal! Through a series of promotional announcements on FOX 40 WICZ and MY 8 and through advertisement on wicz.com, you will be announced as our weekly deal. Each Wednesday night during our news broadcast, we will launch the new Mick’s Half Off Deal of the week, featuring your restaurant or place of business. Viewers will get to know more about your business and be encouraged to log on to wicz.com to save half by purchasing gift certificates from your company at 50% off! What it is: How it works: In today’s advertising marketplace the combination of television and internet advertising can increase traffic. But often, local business owners aren’t sure how to execute a comprehensive marketing campaign. That’s why FOX 40 WICZ and MY 8 have launched Mick’s Half Off Deals. With the power of FOX 40 WICZ and MY 8 and wicz.com, we will help you promote your business and increase traffic.

On air promotion and online promotion for one week in return for a CASH FREE investment: Minimum of 40, :30 promotional announcements on FOX 40 WICZ- TV and MY 8 running the week of sale date. Promotional announcements will air in various, key dayparts including Daytime, News, Evenings & Weekends. Value: $3,000 You will be featured during a promotional announcement Wednesday evening during FOX 40 News at 10. During the segment, viewers will be directed to WICZ.com to purchase your deal redeemable at your place of business. Value: $750+ Your business will be featured in an email blast to over 5,000 WICZ.com registered online users and flyers will passed around the BU campus promoting your upcoming sale. Value: $1,500 Your logo and business will be featured on WICZ.com for the week of your sale and will be published on FOX 40’s You Tube, Facebook, and Twitter pages. These are among the most popular social media networks used in the world. Value: $1,000 Advertising on WICZ.com, including links and mapping features to your business in the featured position of our storefront. This advertisement will begin the week before your sale date. Value: $2,000 Online exposure will continue for 52 weeks. This includes a link to your website, mapping features and an archived video of your commercial available for viewing 24 hours per day. Value: $2,000 A database of your certificate purchasers. Value: $750 Includes all production of on-air and online promotion, web pages, gift certificates, fulfillment costs (mailing, customer service). Value: $1,000 TOTAL MEDIA VALUE: $12,000 What do I get?

Merchant will provide: Commitment to honor and redeem 105 Gift Certificates ($50 value each) per deal date. Completed Contract Agreement. Digital pictures of your restaurant, place of business and/or product or service for video production. Digital copy of logo and 150 word or less business description for our website. Gift Certificate Guidelines: Certificates will be produced for you at no cost. We handle certificate production to increase security and guarantee legal compliance – see next page. Certificates will be valid for 6 months from the purchase date. Certificates become property of the television station. Certificates to be used as cash towards purchase. No restrictions should be placed on use of certificates (i.e. specific days only, additional purchase required, holidays, only certain menu items, etc.). Tax and tip not included is standard on all deals. Review other acceptable restrictions with your AE on Client Information Sheet. What do I provide?

We produce the certificates in order to increase security and maintain legal compliance. Certificate states it was purchased for a promotional price less than face value. Allows for advantageous six month expiration date Significantly reduces potential for fraud Prevents potential “charge back” years from now Certificates are created including your logo – then printed on watermarked paper that cannot be copied. Certificates are uniquely numbered for added security and easy tracking. The expiration date is unique to each transaction and will be six months from the purchase date. Restrictions will be printed right on the certificate. No handling or shipping of the certificates prior to the sale automatically increases security. Gift Certificates

Will not work on a copied or scanned document Be conscious of these security features. Remember: Review with your staff so they know what to look for No feature is 100% effective… a COPY VOID does not show with certain copiers The paper has multiple security features so no one could defeat them all If you are suspicious, use the COIN REACTIVE feature as a final test Save all redeemed certificates

CANCELLATION POLICY: Advertiser agrees that they must provide account executive / station representative no less than (28) twenty-eight days written notice prior to sale date in order to cancel sale of their certificates on our station. Advertiser agrees that any outstanding certificates from dates prior to cancellation will be honored. Advertiser agrees that station management may cancel this agreement within (28) twenty-eight days written notice.
