3. Where were the cuts made? EAPN had to let people go, including policy support Working hours reduced: in the policy area: Amana and Vincent down to 80 per cent Interpretation – no interpretation anymore except for statutory meetings – you feel the impact today Translation – cut down to a minimum – no translation of documents in the secretariat – still a little support for networks to translate Reduced general assembly Merging meetings No new task forces (6 meetings left for this year) No learning Forum 1 Capacity building event only Policy conference will only be a policy seminar Contracts for networks remain
