Status  Focus on prototyping and refining major components  Once Major Component design is set, update SyRS and SDS to reflect As-Built Configuration  Beginning to think and start work on about Final Report and Presentation

Crossover Network  Breadboarded and Functional  MCP604 Chip  Considering dropping the Highpass filter  More complicated to implement  Qualitative listening showed no real change in sound change in association with changing the cutoff frequency  Using Single Sided Power Supply rather than a Split  Biasing signal to 3V  Use Capacitors to block DC on the input and output  Testing: Can we get access to the 214 lab in order to use the spectrum analyzer?

PWM  Two Channel version already put on perfboard for final demonstration version  No time to develop PCB, but circuit is simple enough to work on perfboard  TL494 run in slave mode so both channels operate at the same carrier frequency  Testing can be done easily using an oscilloscope

Amplifier  Two FET version built and tested  Same performance, but runs much cooler at the current supply voltage  Heat sink for two channels (4 FETs total) is built and already integrated into the same small enclosure to hold the rest of the circuit.

Power Supply  Parts for power supply ordered  Should be built and tested by next week  Uses single sided design to provide 12V to Crossover Network and PWM, much higher voltage to the Amplifier and HV Transformer
