Conferencing with Video and Presenting Joining a Skype Meeting A. The meeting invitation contains multiple ways to connect to Skype for Business Online Online Meeting. B. Join Skype Meeting connects you to the meeting through Skype for Business Online allowing you to hear conference call and see visual content such as web camera and desktop sharing. C. Join by Phone connects you to the conference call if you are using a home or cell phone. It connects you through Skype for Business Online if you are using Skype for Business Online Phone Edition or the Skype for Business Dial pad. D. Conference ID required when prompted. You are not prompted when using Join Online Meeting or Meeting Hyperlink. Non-Skype for Business participant can partake in the conference via supplied dial-in number and access code Attendees to a meeting who join before the host caller will be held in individual lobby areas (with hold-music), until the presenter joins

Adding Video Once you have initiated a conversation with someone, you may want to enable Video – use the button to preview, then click start my video when you are happy. The view you get when the conference is underway varies depending on the systems used, how you have set this up in your video options, and the number of participants. An example is showed here with a meeting room system output (the panorama) and one user not on video. Your picture is shown smaller on the right. Conferencing with Video and Presenting

Manage Participants You have a number of Skype management features available to you during a meeting. For instance, perhaps you are presenting a webinar, you wish for all attendees to be muted, and for their names to be hidden. These options (and more) are available to you in the participant tab of the Skype conversation window.

Conferencing with Video and Presenting Sharing Skype for Business lets you collaborate with your participants during a meeting (whether Voice, Video or Instant Message call. Click on the Share button and select the options to share: Your desktop – and if you use multiple monitors, share either or both. Any programs running on your PC A PowerPoint slide presentation A whiteboard. Participants can be polled or take part in a Q&A session. Content can be pre-loaded for when the meeting starts, if required. The following slides provide more detail….

Conferencing with Video and Presenting Share your desktop 1.Click Share. 2.On the Share menu, click Desktop. 3.You are notified that you are sharing your screen. 4.Click Show Stage to open the Stage and see what you are sharing. The Stage shows what others are seeing and allows you to switch between sharing options.

Conferencing with Video and Presenting Share an Application 1.Click Program on the Share menu. 2.Select the applications you want to share and click share. NOTE: Only open applications are listed as available to share

Conferencing with Video and Presenting Share Control When you start sharing your desktop or an application, you are the only one in control. When you are ready, you can allow others to use their own mouse and keyboard to navigate and make changes on your computer. 1.While sharing your desktop or an application, click “Give Control” on the sharing bar at the top of the screen 2.To end control, click “Stop Presenting”

Conferencing with Video and Presenting Using Power Point Annotations You and your participants can use Annotation Tools to make annotations to Power Point presentation during your meeting You can also click on Notes to view your notes. Your notes will only be visible to you, not to your participants.

Conferencing with Video and Presenting Other Applications You can create a poll of participants. Anyone can vote (or not), all presenters can amend or hide the results from attendees: You can run a question and answer session. Pose questions and participants can answer against those questions:

Conferencing with Video and Presenting Activate Recording and manage Playback Record a meeting 1.Click Record 2.When you are done recording, click Stop View a recording 1.Click the Recording Manager notification in the taskbar 2.The Recording Manager opens. You can play, browse, export, rename and delete your recordings
