Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. 8. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD IS THAT HE WOULD BE WORSHIPPED AMONG ALL PEOPLES. “"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"” Psalms‬ ‭46:10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE GOD IS ON A MISSION TO REDEEM AND RECONCILE A PEOPLE TO HIMSELF AND HE WANTS US TO JOIN WITH HIM IN HIS MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION. “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:18- 19‬ ‭ESV‬‬

11. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE “To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭9:22‬ ‭ESV‬‬ People who live on mission are always on the move toward others.

12. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED OF OUR HELP ARE NOT GOING TO SHOW UP AT OUR DOORSTEP, WE HAVE TO IDENTIFY WHERE THEY ARE AND MOVE TOWARDS THEM. IT IS GOD'S WORK AND MISSION AND HE INVITES US TO PARTICIPATE IN IT BY MAKING CONNECTIONS WITH THOSE WHO NEED HIM.

15. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE “Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭ESV‬‬ “Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.” Romans‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭ESV‬‬

16. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE LET US SERVE OTHERS THROUGH LOVE AND LET OUR SERVICE WITH LOVE TRANSFORMS PEOPLE'S LIVES AND BRING THEM BACK TO GOD. Our job is to love others without inquiring whether or not if they are worthy.--unknown

17. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."” Mark‬ ‭10:45‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Our serving is a sacrifice done out of love to see other's lives transformed by God.

19. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE LIFE ON MISSION MEANS TO WEAVE BIBLICAL COMMUNITY INTO EVERY FABRIC OF OUR EVERYDAY LIVES. LIFE WAS NOT MEANT TO LIVE OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE ALONE...WE NEED PEOPLE WHO ARE COMMITTED TO LIVING THEIR LIVES ON MISSION WITH GOD.

STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE PEOPLE WHO LIVE LIFE ON MISSION ARE PEOPLE WHO MAKE DISCIPLES. “So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭ESV‬‬

23. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE The gospel doesn't just free us, it changes us so we become disciples. THE GOSPEL IS NOT SOMETHING WE GET, IT IS SOMETHING THAT GROWS DEEPER IN US SO WE LIVE IT OUT. "So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."” ‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭ESV‬‬

24. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE A LIFE ON MISSION DOESN'T SETTLE FOR KNOWING FACTS ABOUT GOD BUT LIVES TO FALL DEEPER IN LOVE WITH GOD AND HIS WORD SO WE BECOME DISCIPLES OF GOD THAT HELPS OTHERS BECOME DISCIPLES OF GOD.

STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE CONCLUSION: What if every follower of Christ believed that their life on mission mattered and began to live as everyday missionaries that God has called us to be? What would happen? “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:6-7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

29. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE LIVING A LIFE ON MISSION WILL TRANSFORM THE CHURCH, THE CITY, AND THE WORLD. THE BIG IDEA: CROSSPOINTE IS A CHURCH WHERE EVERYONE LIVES THEIR LIFE ON MISSION TO GOD IN ORDER TO RECONCILE PEOPLE THAT ARE FAR FROM GOD BACK TO GOD.

30. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE APPLICATION: Pray about who God wants you to be intentional with (neighbors, coworkers, friends, people with similar interests/hobbies, etc.). Write down their names and pray for them every day as you intentionally invest in them (for instance, invite them to lunch or dinner, a local sporting event, a concert or to church). Whatever you do, be sure to show genuine interest in their life.

31. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE PRAYER: Father, we thank you that you work everywhere reconciling, loving, and healing your people and your creation. In your Son and through the power of your Holy Spirit, you invite each of us to join you in your work.

STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE We ask you to form us more and more in your image and likeness, through our prayer and worship of you and through the study of your scripture, that our eyes will be fully opened to your mission in our city, in our communities, in our nation, and the world.

33. STRATEGY 3 : OUTWARD THROUGH EVANGELISM AND SERVICE Send us to connect, to serve, to share, to grow, and to pray with those around us. Taking risks to give life and hope to all people and all of your creation. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
