Results General tendencies: Low average collaboration intensiveness with digitisation partners Self-oriented networks of partners Traditional collaboration patterns Well-developed relations with commercial contractors Tendencies in a specific institution: Museums had the largest partners’ & contractors’networks Archives had the smallest partners’ & contractors’ networks Library partners’ networks were the most self-oriented Libraries were the most active collaborators in partners’ networks Archives were the most active collaborators in contractors’ networks
8
Conclusions Reasons for engagement in networks: High demand for resources not available in memory institutions Safe and well-known collaboration landscape Although sufficient variety of partners/contractors were present most collaborations are at the stages of early exploration
