Assignment – photo composition identification Locate one photo representing each of the previously discussed photo composition rules – Can be from the web or one you’ve taken Create a “photo composition” subfolder in your “photo journalism” OneDrive folder for storage Label each photo (they should be JPG files) with your last name, composition rule and class period – Smith dominant subject 4 – Smith freezing action 6 Share the folder with Mrs. J via OneDrive by midnight on Tuesday, September 6, 2016

Assignment: photo composition photo shoot Using your personal cameras and the seven photo composition rules you learned last week, take three photos of each photo composition rule We will be taking photos as a class on Wednesday and Thursday On Monday, create a folder inside your “Photo Journalism” OneDrive folder titled “[ last name ] Photo Composition.” All photos need to be downloaded from your camera to this folder, and each should be titled [your last name] [composition rule] [photo number] [class period] – Smith dominant subject 1 4 – Smith freezing action 2 4 You will share the entire folder with me via OneDrive (this is a different method of turning in that I think will work better for ya’ll). All photos must be turned in by midnight on Monday, 12 September – You will have time in class on Monday to save, rename and turn in your photos. Bring your download devices!
