What is a Biome? A biome is a major regional complex of similar communities. It is recognized primarily by its dominant plant type and vegetation structure.

Tropical Rainforest Found in Central America, South America, South East Asia, and West Africa. Year round rain and warm temperatures. Dark damp interiors, lush vegetation, and diverse biotic communities.

Tropical Dry Forest Found in India, Africa, South America and Northern Australia. They have wet and dry seasons that both span about half a year. Rainfall is lower overall and highly seasonal. Warm year round

Tropical Grass Land Also referred to as Savanna Found across stretches of Africa, South America, Australia, and India. Precipitation during distinct rainy seasons.
