3. What are the exams? Paper One : Poetry and Creative Writing (75 mins) Paper Two : Short story comprehension and Persuasive Writing (75 mins)

4. Poetry Comprehension : Discuss with the person next to you what you will do to help answer the questions.

5. Creative Writing : Discuss with the person next to you how you will plan your answer.

6. Short Story Comprehension : Discuss with the person next to you what strategies you will use in the exam to help you answer the questions.

7. Persuasive Writing: Discuss with the person sitting next to you some of the phrases you might use in your answer. Also discuss A FOREST.: can you remember what it stands for and give an example of each?

8. How can I revise? Read over some of the War poems we studied and look at your notes and annotations. Read over the revision materials on the iNet. Check you are happy with the meanings of: alliteration, simile, metaphor, personification, triadic structure and know how to find them in a text. Make sure you have learnt AFOREST and thought about your creative writing
