In this lesson, they learn that they always have choices in a conflict, and that how they choose to respond affects the relationship. By learning about various ways people tend to respond to conflict, and examining their own conflict styles, students can learn to adapt their responses to solve conflicts more successfully. Step 1. 1. Be prepared to share with your students about a time when you asked for help, and how you followed the four steps to ask for help outlined in this lesson.
