ADP- WOTC WOTC – Work Opportunity Tax Credit Tax credits are provided to companies hiring individuals from particular target groups who have faced barriers to employment ADP automatically determines if employee is eligible based on a series of questions The integration eliminates the need for the paper 8850 form

ADP- WOTC There are three exports associated with the WOTC integration that will need to be run each week and sent to ADP via FTP site. They are: Location Export, Tax Credit Pay File and the New Hire File

Admin Tools Peoplenet is activated for your suppliers and customers from Admin tools >> Peoplenet Time Clocks. Set up requires you to subscribe and activate any participating customers and departments. *Note- if a customer has multiple departments, those that are participating must also be activated.

Peoplenet Time View Orders and assignments will automatically be included to be sent to Peoplenet if the customer/department is activated. You can choose to exclude a specific order if you need to from the Order >> Detail >> More info >> Peoplenet time clock : Exclude order checkbox

Peoplenet Time View In time entry home page >> Actions menu >> Show Peoplenet Time View There are three tabs here: Exported-Assignments Imported- Pay files Messaging Errors This is the main area that you’ll be using for Peoplenet

Peoplenet Time View Tab 1: “Exported-Assignments”, shows all assignments that are for customers/departments that have been exported to Peoplenet. Newly placed assignments will automatically and instantly get sent to Peoplenet. Any updates to existing assignments will be sent on a nightly refresh to Peoplenet automatically.

Peoplenet Time View Tab 2: “Imported –Pay files” Pay files will display here once the clock has been closed on the Peoplenet side. You will press the process button for each Pay file, this will automatically begin processing the assignment information. Once the whole file has been processed this creates a batch in Time Entry ready for review and closing.

Peoplenet Time View Tab 3: “Messaging Errors” This section will show you any errors that may have occurred during processing that need to be addressed with (also displayed on the Import – pay files tab)

Screening Categories Basics – Do they have the basic requirements for the job? Attitude- Attitude, Values & Ethics Job Fit- Personality Characteristics & Cognitive Abilities Skills- Skills, Knowledge & Experience Overall Fit – Reviewing all aspects of the applicant for the job

Starting the Assessment As the Applicant walks through the portal they will get to the Assessment Tab. This will show a welcome page and will describe how to proceed with the assessment test

Completing the Assessment Depending on which assessments you offer they can be formatted in different ways. This is a True/False format.

Timed Assessments You could also have a timed format with multiple choice answers.

Submitting the Assessment Once the Applicant completes the assessment they will click the “Submit Answers” button in the bottom right corner or the page. This will submit their answers and move them forward in the applicant portal.

Attitude Profile This tab houses several reports: Attitude: Gages applicant’s overall attitude. Good Impression: Scale that measures the degree to which the person responded frankly to the question or in such a way as to make a good impression. Hostility (Aggression): Gages if the applicant expresses anger physically or verbally to co-workers. Conscientiousness (Dependability): Describes the degree to which the individual lacks persistence, work motivation and organization Integrity (Honesty): Gages how likely the person is to engage in an act of dishonesty

Attitude Report This report is found on the right side of the Attitude Profile grid under the Employee’s record. It gives you a visual indication on where the employee lands on the scale for each category.

Job Fit Profile This tab lists and ranks how the applicant matches up/fits with a certain job. The higher the value number the better fit the applicant may be with the listed job.

Job Fit Report This report is found on the right side of the Job Fit Profile grid under the Employee’s record. It gives you a visual indication on where the employee lands on the scale for each category.
