Key Challenges for the Future The world is at risk from water shortages, food insecurity, escalating health problems and conflict. TASK: –Copy the poverty ‘bomb’ onto the centre of your A3 sheet (Page.79 in Your textbook). –Use the textbook pages 76-80 and the black textbook pages 41-43 to help you expand on each of the possible ‘detonators’. –Add examples from Africa and Nicaragua to support your points using the textbooks. Plan an answer to the following question: ‘Evaluate the extent to which climate change may be the factor which triggers a range of serious global hazards’ (12 Marks)
