3 Why update SWEFLEX business idea? "But what's around the corner" in 2015 SweFlex declared we want to expand our business It is the Board mission to meet our members' interests and the board agree that we have to adapt to reality and meet future expectations. We live in a changing world where market demand is continuously driving new requirements for consistent quality and just-in-time delivery. Consumer buying habits are also changing, smaller order sizes / editions are here to stay, and brand owners are consolidating more and more brands. The trend is for packaging print to increase significantly in volume and market coverage. New printing technologies like digital and hybrid print are also starting to become mainstream. Flexo technology needs to be compared to other printing technologies, in terms of its advantages and disadvantages. Prepress and printing technology developments have led to fewer processes with higher productivity, more consistent quality and shorter lead times. New entrants to our industry are driving ever-stronger competition.

7 According to PIRA’s report “The Future of Digital vs Analogue Printing to 2020” the global printing market is estimated to grow 2% annually until 2020. In that period Digital Print is expected to increase 25% in value and 36% in volume. We in SWEFLEX want to open up for our association to follow market trends and new technologies and their business models. We believe that our members will gain knowledge and long term business advantage with this new direction.

8 SWEFLEX New Business Idea ASSOCIATION - Purpose of the association is to promote packaging printing and our members' interests - Promote training and skills development and through this enhance the industry's competitiveness - Provide a forum for information and networking for packaging printing VISION We will be first and best to inform our members about the latest developments in packaging printing. MISSION - To support the product development of the packaging industry by developing competitive packaging print - To increase opportunities for skills development in packaging printing - To connect all the players in the packaging printing and its value chain in the joint forum through annual seminars and other communication channels

9 STRATEGIES - Strive to maintain a high technical standard of BrobyGrafiska school by working closely with industry - Encourage all members to increase cooperation with BrobyGrafiska, Karlstad University and other training providers in collaboration with SweFlex and SFI AB to improve the skills of our member companies - Support Broby Grafiska training, and market the training nationally and internationally - Increase cooperation with the Graphic Industries and GS to jointly gain a better understanding and knowledge of the industry challenges - Increase and contribute to closer cooperation with FTA Europe - Create an added value for our members and facilitate more companies to join SweFlex - Contribute to the SFI AB Development
