Open House Sunday - November 20, 2016 12:30 - 4:00 pm 1 st Quarter Report Cards Will be distributed on Friday – Nov. 18, 2016 * Report Cards must be signed and returned within three school days. Open House & Report Cards

Remediation Plan A Remediation Plan is developed in a meeting between a student and his/her guidance counselor to address failing grade averages at the end of each quarter. This plan generally includes: Use agenda daily Keep up with current assignments Make up any missed or failed work Cycle reports/Family Portal Stay after school with teacher Go to the library to complete homework

* If a student is having difficulty in a particular subject, he or she should stay with his or her respective teacher from 2:30-3:00pm. Students may access the Library from 3:00-4:00pm to do homework, research, or utilize the computers. Academic Support

All Sophomores Must: * pass English and Geometry * pass their CVTE (Shop) * complete their Career Cruising Requirements for the year * complete their Vocational Career Portfolio requirements for the year Sophomores cannot fail more than six credits in order to promote to junior year. Career Cruising Career Cruising Career Cruising is an Internet-based career exploration and planning tool used to explore career and college options and develop a career plan. Assignments: Redo-Matchmaker - My Skills - Activity #5 Due dates: 10-2 students - Dec 21 st, 2016 10-1 students - Dec 15 th, 2016

MCAS Dates “2017” ELA – March 21 st, 22 nd, and 23 rd Math – May 16 th and 17 th Science – June 5 th and 6 th Minimum MCAS scores needed to obtain high school diploma: ELA & MATH : 220 (+EPP Plan if does not meet the 240 proficiency level) Science: 220 MCAS
