YOGA ORIGIN About 5,000 years ago, in Northern India, Yoga was created by the Indus- Saravasti civilization In old sacred text, the word yoga was first mentioned by Rig Veda that contained songs, mantras, and rituals In 1924, yoga originated to the US

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF YOGA? Yoga can help boost your immune system It makes your heart happier and healthier It increases your level of creativity Its builds your confidence to talk or interact with others Yoga also helps you get out of your memories, normally your thinking about the past or future

CAN YOGA CURE ILLNESSES AND WHAT IS THE METHOD FOR IT? Yes yoga can help cure, fight, reliieve, and/or alleviate illnesses Yoga can help alleviate depression and anxiety relieves diabetes Eases the pain of scolosis Relieves fibromyalgia Prevents dementia Yoga adapts to the needs of the person that is doing yoga therapy
