2 Internal Rhyme Definition: A rhyme within a line. Examples: Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing. Ah, distinctly I remember, it was in the bleak December.

3 Alliteration Definition: Repetition of sounds made by the same consonants within a sentence or phrase. Examples: Names: Dunkin Donuts, PayPal, Coca-Cola, American Apparel, Chuckee Cheese’s, Marilyn Manson, Ronald Reagan, Mickey Mouse. She sells seashells by the seashore. Wicked Witch of the West.

4 Assonance Definition: Repetition of sounds made by the same vowels within a sentence or phrase. Examples: On a proud round cloud. In white high night. The engineer held the steering wheel in place. Fleet feet sweep by sleeping geeks. Row, row, row your boat gentle down the stream.

6 Plot Structure  Exposition: introduces the background information at the beginning of the story.
