19. Applying for a Donner grant (2) The department tries hard to distribute Donner grants fairly. Donner grants can cover: Travel expenses Living expenses (including rent at your place of work / study – but NOT in Finland during your absence) Travel insurance Placement fees (e.g. for Allianssi) Tuition - but NOT for language courses, and NOT necessarily full university fees Donner grants cannot cover: Clothes, books, food, recreational activities, international student card Grants from other sources (e.g. Erasmus, ISEP, Svenska studiefonden) must be calculated into (i.e. deducted from) the sum you apply for NB: Keep all receipts: needed for report to Stiftelsen when you return.
