STRIPPING AND CUTTING First you will need to strip the wire. I used scissors to cut off the rubber around the wires. The wires are bundled together in pairs. The solid color and the same color with a white stripe. Separate them and cut to make it even.
3
INSERTING WIRES When they are separated, I had to organize it in a certain way. The clip in the picture is cenection one and the order goes green strip, green, orange stripe, blue, blue strip, orange solid, brown stripe, and brown solid. The second one goes like this, orange stipe, orange, green stripe, blue solid, blue stripe, green solid, brown stripe and brown solid.
4
CRIMPING When the wires are in the right spot you then need to lock it in. On the RJ 45 connector there are little slots. These slots are where the crimper tool will crimp the rubber around the wires to secure the connection. There are 8 prong and a 6 prong slot. Since the Ethernet cable has 8 prongs(the wires) I used the 8 prong slot.

TESTING The tester uses the own cord and test the flow. Plug the ends on th etop and the bottom and press test. The green lights mean the pins work and the x means it has been correctly tested.
