14 FIRST DESTINATION SURVEY AT LINE UP! Reasoning behind and the importance of our First Destination Survey: Employers seek out this information to use when deciding whether or not to recruit from Embry-Riddle Increases the value of your ERAU degree when the university can provide thorough information on success rates to media, accrediting bodies, prospective students, etc. It is necessary for us to provide overall success rates to the Department of Education to ensure students and graduates are getting a return on their educational investment Accreditation boards request information (SACS, ABET, etc.), both overall and on individual degree programs Prospective students specifically find great value in the information when researching ERAU and which degree would be best for them, placement rate, salary information, and employers that recruit the degree, etc.

15 GRADUATING STUDENT SURVEY (GSS) Administration – begins end of February  Online  Email from The Office of Institutional Research follow link in the email Helps ERAU meet:  External requests  U.S. News, Princeton Review, etc  Assessment  Improving student service and programs for future students and alumni  Accreditation Needs
