2 Battle of Dorylaeum † This battle was almost a disaster for the crusaders. † They where slaughtered by Turkish archers. † 50,000 soldiers of Kilij Arslan, Seljuk Sultan of Rum attacked from the side. † The crusader’s army had 150,000 to 350,000 men. † The crusaders were forced back to their camps. † Duke Godfrey helped them defeat the Turkish army. “Rickard”
