Gazpacho

● The gazpacho is known as a type of food whose preparation consists of a soup with ingredients such as bread, olive oil, vinegar and vegetables: generally tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions and garlic. It is usually served cool on hot summer months. Its color ranges from pale orange to red as tomatoes are used more or less mature ●.

Gazpacho ● Traditionally it has been considered a plate of inland Andalusia, where olive oil and garden produce are abundant. For this reason it is commonly known as Andalusian gazpacho. It comes from the time of al-Andalus.

Composition of current gazpacho ● Tomatoes: should be ripe to contribute sweetness. This vegetable is the one that gives the red color to the gazpacho. In some periods of scarcity has been used instead of tomato paprika to achieve the color red.

● Cucumber: Its flavor is strong and their ratio is a measure to be taken into account by the gazpachero.

● Peppers (red or green): are vegetables that provides freshness and citrus flavors with a light touch.

● Onion: Usually people put onions in a little amount. Provides natural flavorings.

● Garlic: It's in small quantities, to suit the consumer.

● After this process, let cool in the refrigerator a few hours and then it is ready to serve.
