What is National School Lunch Week? NSLW Draws attention to the National School Lunch Program using a fun theme that changes every year Established by President John F. Teachers and Administrators can: Encourage the school nutrition director to make presentations about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle at PTA meetings and in the classroom Talk about “School Lunch: Show Your Spirit” during the morning announcements Make cooking techniques or healthy eating topics part of the curriculum Get Involved – Teachers and Administrators

Parents can: Visit the cafeteria and have lunch with their child Encourage healthy eating and an active lifestyle at home for themselves and their child (actions speak louder than words!)
