2. Accepting Invitations  Those who are invited to see the shared calendar will receive an invitation. You must open the invitation in Outlook Web App.  (Multiple Calendar Sharing is not supported in the full version of Outlook at this time)  Click Add Calendar in the invitation.

3. Viewing the Calendar  You will now find the calendar listed in your calendars under Peoples Calendars or Other Calendars. Right click on any calendar to change the name or the color of the calendar for easier identification. Remove the check to have the calendar invisible.

4. Creating Events the Shared Calendar  Click new event in the upper left or double click on any day on the calendar to make an event.  Complete the entry as normal. Be sure that the correct calendar is chosen in the dropdown menu.

5. Inviting Others to Meetings  To add the event to other’s work calendars, you will want to invite them to the event.  Use the scheduling assistant to invite others to the event.  You will be able to see if they are busy in the scheduling assistant. Add people here! Check Schedules Here!

6. Why invite people to meetings?  If you want people to get automatic reminders of meetings, invite them to the meeting.  If you want the event to show up on other people’s calendars you should invite them to the event.  If you want to make sure who is and isn’t going to attend an event, you should invite them to the event. They will be asked to mark that they will attend or not. You can track attendance in the scheduling assistant.
