16. www. pdst. ie Information Gap/writing activity: Simulate facebook/texting. Walk into classroom and write on the board ‘you will work in groups of 2/3 you will discuss the topic I will give you. You can interrupt your partner but only by writing. Try to avoid very long paragraphs and don’t make your partner wait too long while you write. Topics can range from le weekend passé to more abstract topics. Teacher can go around correcting. The silence is wonderful and they usually enjoy it.
