2. Bellwork Open the Ziplock bag on your desk and spread out the word strips inside. Place the words in a line on your desk in ALPHABETICAL (ABC) order.

8. Parts of a Dictionary Entry Guide words are found at the top of each page. They tell you the first and last word that is found on that page.

12. Parts of a Dictionary Entry Vocabulary: Etymology (Origins)- this tells you the history of the word, and what language it came from. Synonyms or Syn- Words with the same meaning of the word. Antonyms or Ant- Words with the opposite meaning of the word.
