Mega cap - $200Billion and larger Big/large cap - $10 billion to $200 billion. “Blue Chip” stocks. Mid cap - $2 billion to $10 billion. Growth Stocks. Small cap - Typically new or relatively young companies. $300 million to $2 billion. Risky. Micro cap - Penny Stocks. $50 million to $300 Greater the risk, greater the return. Nano cap - Companies having market caps below $50 million. VERY RISKY!!!

EPS Earnings Per Share Company’s total earnings less dividends/ total shares outstanding Usually – the higher, the better Don’t compare JUST EPS AAPL’s EPS: 9.40 GOOG’s EPS: 23.59

P/E Ratio Price to Earnings Ratio How expensive a stock is relative to its profits Market Value per Share/Earnings Per Share Generally a high P/E ratio means that investors are anticipating higher growth in the future. However, too high means the stock’s price could be inflated. “Teens” is good AAPL’s P/E: 11.22 GOOG’s P/E: 31.39
