5 Priority Problems in South China Sea(SAP) 1.Habitat Change and Loss (Mangrove,Sea grass, Coral reefs and wetland 2. Over-exploitation of fisheries 3. Land-based Pollution 4. Lack of continuous financial support & inadequate regional cooperation

6 Hot spot Map depicting Land based Pollution Domestic Agriculture Industrial & mining Oil  Throughout the region, deforestation, wild fire & unsustainable agricultural practices in forested uplands substantially cause soil erosion and sediments into rivers,and hence the seas. (TDA/SAP )
