2  Explanation:  ‘2 Pairs Sentence’ begins with two pairs of related adjectives.  Each pair is: Followed by a comma Separated by the conjunction ‘and’ A word that connects a sentence together

5  The idea is that the first and last bit of the sentence (the bun) makes sense alone e.g. The pyramid reached high in the sky. The bit in the middle (meat) adds more detail. The pyramid, glinting in the midday sun, reached high in the sky.

11  A 3 ED sentence begins with three related adjectives, each of which ends in ed.  The words must be followed by commas.  Most ed words are used to describe emotions. They are very good for telling your reader about the character and how they are feeling.

14  Explanation:  A 2A sentence has two adjectives before the first noun, with another two before the second noun.  This is very useful to paint a picture in the reader's head- great for descriptive writing!

Think about WHY this extract is engaging and HOW it sustains the interest of the audience.
