WORKING TOGETHER IN GROUPS For group work in the laboratory, there is a procedure, so each student is prepared to contribute equally to the group's work. I determine the lab groups at the beginning of the year, but will change them from time to time, if necessary. Students decide which role they wish to complete for the first lab, and will then rotate through the jobs of Timer/Discipline monitor, Supply Gatherer, Recorder, and Reporter. For group work in the classroom, students will work in groups of two, four or large group. All students will fulfill the role of Researcher for the group. Student will rotate the roles of Timer/Discipline monitor, Supply Gatherer, Recorder, and Reporter, depending upon the group activity.

Throwing things into the trash can during class is not acceptable behavior. Please walk to the trash can and dispose of your trash. · There is no spitting at any time in our classroom. Should I need to ask you to please stop talking during class, do not reply with “I’m not talking.” This is both disrespectful and fails to show you can take responsibility for your own behavior. If you need to say something when corrected, please be polite and simply say “yes Mr. Mitchell,” or just say ok. TALKING
