3. COMPOUND SUBJECTS If a sentence has more than one subject sharing one verb, then this sentence has a compound subject. The subjects are connected using a conjunction. The dog and the cat chased the mouse. My mother and sister went without me. My wallet and telephone are lost.

4. COMPOUND VERB If a sentence has more than one verb sharing one subject, then this sentence has a compound verb. The verbs are connected using a conjunction. The dog chased and scared the mouse. My mother bought and cooked the meat.. I broke and lost my bag.

5. COMPOUND PREDICATE A compound predicate is made up of a compound verb and all the words that go with each verb. They are also connected with a conjunction. All the students must be ready for the exam and they must study the notes. All my friends had popcorn at the cinemas and had a pizza at their favorite restaurant.
