Advanced Health Occupations Course Description Grade: 10-12Credits: 2 (Two-Hour Block Class) Prerequisite: Health Occupations Exploration/Medical First Response This is a 2-hour course for students interested in a professional career in the Health Care field. Students will acquire the basic skills and knowledge to work in multiple areas of health care, both within the hospital and in the community. This course will also provide a career foundation for students interested in continuing their education at the post-secondary level.

7. 7 CTE Technical Standards The curriculum for Advanced Health Occupations will directly align with the state standards. Textbook: Diversified Health Occupations – the text is aligned with the technical standards
