4 Initial development basic pipeline support some 'basic' MIRI library development -aim is to have a basic pipeline and a basic MIRI library available for FM for people who like to use python tool development in support of FM calibration analysis -mainly analysis the developers are involved in -use FM to test pipeline and stimulate development -rest of calibration analysis to be incorporated after instrument delivery propably in collaboration with STScI LP (e.g. Karl) who also have a clear interest in that. no incentive to replace DHAS for FM test support -both given resources and politics

5 NL activities EC Coordination and STScI liaison -organize meetings -EC developers meeting in Jan at SRON -EC software planning meeting 28/29 Jan in Leiden -joint STScI/EC developers meeting in Mar/Apr, place TBD -EC developers meetings TBD -.... -documentation (i.c. with other developers, users) -EC organization -short doc. describing EC soft. team, e.g. resources and responsibilities -MIRI routines; extension / supplement to -MIRI Science and Calibration Analysis System - Work package description - -User requirements -MIRI software development environment -update existing documents define NL MRS lead-development -spectral deconvolution and optimal extraction (co-lead or support Leuven) -plan is to assign some SRON resources to this (i.p.
