Journalists have the freedom to write what they choose and the readers have a right to reply. The government does not control our media so has no power over what is published/printed/shown etc…

This means thy can decide what information to share with the public. For example, in countries like Russia and China, the press is often censored to prevent criticism of them. Websites like Facebook and twitter can be / are banned.
