State Determination For the sixth year in a row, the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) has given Colorado a Determination of Meets Requirements Included both Compliance and Performance measures The Results Driven Accountability Matrix can be found at http://eicolorado.org/index.cfm?fuseaction =Documents.content&linkid=288

5. SSIP Phase II Feedback The OSEP conducted Colorado’s SSIP Phase II feedback call this week Congratulated on a well thought out plan Colorado doing “incredible work” Impressed at how far along we are We are doing a lot!

9. Telehealth CCBs will be receiving an e-mail with information about the paperwork required for providers to be able to provide services via telehealth – Consent – Provider checklist Only providers who have been trained may utilize telehealth as a method

10. Telehealth Continued The Colorado training is being developed and it is anticipated that it will be ready in November 2016 Some providers have completed other training and may request a waiver Included in the information that CCBs will receive this week is a brochure explaining Live Video visits (telehealth). It’s in color, but there will be a black and white version on the eicolorado website that CCBs can print out to give to families and providers

11. Bridge Training The Bridge Training is still in draft, but it has been sent to several new service coordinators Service coordinator supervisors should be checking in with those going through the workbook to monitor their progress and to sign off on their completion of each module If you have new service coordinators they can start working on the draft – Email me with the appropriate contact information and I will get it to them – Or I can send it to you and you can get it to them

12. Bridge Training The final Bridge Training will be the same with additional information about family assessment, priorities, and outcomes – this is still being developed as a training that can be accessed online EI Office Hours will be starting next Tuesday, August 9 th – Time is 11:30 – 12:30 – Dates are listed on the EI calendar at eicolorado.org – Please register on the training and events tab – These will be done through Zoom.us

13. Ongoing Training We have met with People Productions about the focus group results They have recommendations for the new ongoing training for Service Coordinators This new online training will also have some components of training for providers and others working in Early Intervention Stay tuned! We are very excited that this is now in production

14. ECMH The one and a half day training will be held August 4 – 5 for 60 participants 42 of those participants are going on to infant mental health endorsement Due to the overwhelming response to this opportunity, the endorsement candidates will be participating in one of two cohorts Cohort 1 starts in August, cohort 2 starts in early 2017

15. Reports & UNICORN End of Year Clean-Up

16. UNICORN Indicator reports will be ready in the UNICORN by the end of August – Indicators 1, 7 and 8 Notification will be sent out to users when the reports are ready Once reports are available please utilize and enter any and all missing data Year end data is due by October

17. Provider Database Timelines Provider database will be moving into the UNICORN on November 7 th All child outcomes data will be entered in the UNICORN starting November 7 th Child Outcomes Entry ratings will be migrated into the UNICORN by Nov 7 th

18. Provider Database cont. Providers will have limited access to Client Cases, IFSP’s and the ability to log Utilizations – CCB’s will have over arching control over verifying and changing the status on all Activities Training will be available towards the end of September

19. Duplicate Contacts Duplicate Provider contacts are being updated in the system Before creating a new Provider contact record please verify one is not already in the system –If a provider contact record exists CCB’s can associated their CCB under the New Affiliation section
