6. Commentary The two mock-ups shown in this submission of work explore and test the concepts illustrated on slide 2 and 3. The annotation could be improved with a focus on aesthetics, function and specifications in the brief rather than manufacturing constraints encountered when constructing the mock-up. The model appears to be complex and demonstrates most features of the design solution. The model does not quite fulfil the criteria of a ‘quality model’ and this keeps this submission to the Merit grade area of the standard.
