When to Use Not Tested Codes Use when a student does not attempt a test. Follow your state policy on contacting the department of education for your state’s Not Tested Reasons. Click to go back to: Topics

When to Use Void Codes In most states, this coding is done by the state department of education. If you think a test attempt should be marked Void, follow your state policy when contacting your state department of education. Use a Void Code when a student’s test should not be reported. Multiple Test Registrations Students may have multiple test registrations for the same grade and subject appearing on Student Test Update File exports. This can happen due to the following reasons: Students were enrolled and assigned the same test at multiple locations. Students had more than one completed test attempt. Students were registered for the same test after already completing it. Make sure to check the Test UUID Code when updating test registrations/attempts to ensure you are updating the correct record. How to Use Void Codes Click to go back to: Topics Click the Setup button and choose Students. Search for the student and check the box next to the name. Select Manage Student Tests. Under Student Tests, Select the test to be voided. Under Test Details, check the box next to Void Score Code and Reason. Click Save.

Updating the Not Tested or Void Codes and Reason Fields via Post Test File Import Update Not Tested Code and Reason Fields and Void Score and Reason Code Fields Identify the student tests you want to modify. – For unused test registrations that you want to mark as not tested; update the Not Tested Code Field and Not Tested Reason field. – For completed test attempts you wanted to mark as voided; update the Void Score Code field and Void Score Reason field.
