6 Sahel is a semi-arid tropical savanna ecoregion in Africa, which forms the transition between the Sahara desert to the north and the more fertile region to the south

8 African Rainforests A rainforest is an area of land with very thick vegetation. Rainforest are located in tropical climate zones and experience a great amount of rain fall each year. The plants and trees in a rainforest have large, broad leaves that create a canopy across the sky.

9 Savannah A tropical or sub-tropical plant community characterized by trees and shrubs scattered among a cover of grasses, herbs and forbs. The climate of a savanna is tropical with a dry season occurring in the low Sun period of the year
