4. What We Paid For Dinner Our sales tax is 8.25% Our tip we gave our waiter was 20% because he was great Our subtotal price was $69.55 And finally our total price $90.35

5. What I did to get my total price First I found the subtotal amount ( the cost of the meal before the tax and tip) which was $69.55 Next I found the sales tax ( an extra amount added to the total price) which was $5.74 and I added that to my subtotal amount Then I found the gratuity or tip (an extra amount of money you give the waiter/waitress for good service) which was $15.06 and added that to the subtotal price with the sales tax

6. Observations I made during this project I noticed that drinks are very expensive at Brio Grilled Salmon is very expensive even though you don’t get a lot of it. Also I noticed that the tip I gave my waiter was a lot of money and I think that was the case because my subtotal price with the tax was already a lot of money
