Will have 3-6 clicker questions each lecture. 6 points 6 points per lecture for answering all clicker questions (extra credit for answering some of the questions correctly)

Seating in Lecture You can choose where you sit in class, but once you have made a choice, you should not change it for until the next test. After each test you will get a chance to change your seat with someone. You should form groups of two, three or four. You should sit in seats as shown on the next slide, depending upon which group you form.

Views of Science 1.As long as experiments are done correctly they will be able to prove a theory to be correct. 2.Developing new science knowledge involves following careful procedures rather than being creative. 3.A hypothesis is an educated guess. 4.Once accepted by the scientific community scientific ideas are considered fact. 5.Scientists are particularly objective, not influenced by their personal experiences or beliefs when they do science. 6.If a new idea is supported by scientific evidence, other scientists usually accept it with little resistance. 7.Science ideas are usually generated by a scientist working alone, with little or no collaboration with other people.
